A question on The Industrial Relations (IR) Code, 2020. I read it allows companies to hire contract workers directly through fixed-term contract.
Can someone please share some more light on the minor details on this topic. It would be very helpful.

Yes… Companies can now hire contract workers directly without any middleman for fixed term contract as per the IR Code 2020 notified on september 29. Unlike permanent employes, these employees are not entitled for retrenchment compensation.
