When are leaves applicable to employee?

Hi,

Are the paid leaves (EL,CL, SL) are applicable from employee’s date of joining ? Or from date of employment confirmation post completion of probation?

From the date of confirmation and this will be on pro rata basis for the year (depends on the company, if following calendar year or financial year)
