Can we show Pf employer and ESIC employer deduction in Payslip in deduction side ?
Yes we have to show the PF & ESIC Employer deduction in Payslip
It is not a good practice to show Employer Deduction of PF & ESI in Payslip.
It will be misrepresented as you are deducting from employee salary rather than Employer contribution.
As the name suggests, Employer contribution can never be deducted from Employee’s Salary, it has to be over and above the Employee salary.
If you are following a CTC based salary structure, then you can have a separate CTC payslip to show the breakup of salary.
Firstly, Employer Contribution to PF & ESIC is NOT a Deduction but a Benefit.
Benefit is Never shown as deduction.
You can show that as part of CTC.
