Hi Everyone!
Would like to know if compensatory leaves (Comp Offs) can be availed in case an employee is expected to work during his/her weekly off or listed holidays, while working from home.
Also suggestion from existing policies in different organizations on the lapse/carry forward limits /clauses of Comp offs.

Hi Mohana,
When an employee works from home on a day that is either a weekly off or holiday, is entitled to claim the applicable compensatory off. The place of work whether it is an office premise or home doesn’t matter in such cases considering the aspect that the employee has worked on a day that is declared as weekly off/holiday as the case may be.
