In exercises of the power conferred by Section 35 of the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act 1979 (30 of 1979, the Government of Gujarati hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Gujarat) Rules 1981, namely :-

  1. These rules may be called the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Gujarat) (Amendment) Rules 2020.

  2. In the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Gujarat) Rules 1981, rules 14 and 15 shall be deleted.

  3. In the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Gujarat) Rules 1981, Form IX shall be deleted

Effective date would be 31 December 2020
