This initiative further reaffirms the firm’s commitment to prioritising its members’ health and well-being by recognising the challenges faced by individuals due to menstruation, menopause, and their associated complexities.

Effective immediately, every member at Khaitan & Co is entitled to a maximum of 12 paid days per calendar year for reasons related to menstruation, menopause, and the associated challenges. This will not require any medical certificate to be presented to avail of the leave. The firm acknowledges that the decision to take menstrual leave is at the discretion of individual members. This forward-thinking approach not only cements the firm’s leadership in the legal industry but also highlights a promise to foster an empathetic and supportive work environment.
