We have our registered office in Bangalore, Karnataka.
If we plan to hire an employee who prefers to work from Pune, should this employee follow Karnataka leave entitlement policy or if there is a local leave entitlement requirement based on where the EE works/lives in Pune, that differs from company policy. Kindly clarify.
If the company does not have an office in Pune with a Shops and Establishment Licence, because the employee is WFH, then it is difficult to follow the leave entitlement for Maharashtra.
I would share what we are following in the company.
We are registered in Karnataka - but some of our employees are in Chennai, Delhi etc. and we all follow one leave and attendance policy. The only difference will be their application for the restricted holidays which is based on to where they are currently stationed.
