Dear Ramesh,

There is a format for filing POSH annual returns, meanwhile do you have a POSH Committee in your organization and do you conduct regular awareness sessions to all the employees?

Probably, you can engage/outsource this to an external consultants.

Please find below the information for your reference.

  1. Whenever required, forward the complaint to the police.
  2. The police are duty bound to register a sexual harassment case forwarded by the ICC within seven days under Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (2) or other provisions of the criminal law.
  3. The Committee may also forward the complaint to the police when a settlement is agreed upon between the parties but the respondent fails to comply with the condition(s) of the settlement.
