I am concerned with the 3rd qualification for the IC, what if all are male so how will the IC look like? Since it is mentioned that more than 50% if the committee members have to be female?

Kindly advise on my concern - with the composition of the IC - what if all are male, and the requirement mentions the mix of male and female.

Will it be fine for a company with only males to have the policy but without the IC member coming from outside of the organization and it will be composed of just males…

Please find below the response to your query.

The definition of a complainant is inclusive of a visitor as well. This means according to the law the IC has to be created for the protection of not just women working in the organisation but even the women who might be associated with the organization for examples, clients, vendors, and other third parties. The composition of the IC has to be 50% women and headed by a woman.
