Do we have any statutory number of leaves that we may need to provide our employee if he or she suffers covid? Or can these leaves be utilized from the sick leaves we provide.

I am also working in Karnataka, but have not heard or read of any leaves specifically for covid related - what we did and are still practicing is that the allowed sick leaves be utilized first, then if not enough - management will check on other possibilities on how to handle the employee - last option will be to use his casual and earned leaves.
Might someone from the group can share any statutory numbers they know of - would help us too
