Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959 (“EE Act”)

Hello,
Can anyone confirm what is the min number of employees required to do filings under the Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959 (“EE Act”).

How we can do the same for Karnataka. Is there any online portal or format.

Hi @Sreeja

Sharing what I knew, this should definitely help to an extent.

  1. Applicant need to visit nearest district employment exchange.
  2. Link for List of Employment exchanges with contact information: Contact Link1 and Contact Link2
  3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter.
  4. With required documents submit filled in application form.
  5. The authorities will process the application online and provide you with unique password and temporary registration number.
  6. These two details are important to know the current status of the application.
  7. After one week applicant gets a message in the registered mobile number that his employment registration is approved and can get the employment card.
  8. Post registration, an employment ID card will be provided to the applicant.
