No, this ECR statement is not wrong because in companies where excess PF contribution is allowed their ECR file will generate like only as there is not restriction for standard PF 1800/- deduction. Hence EPF wage is showing higher than 15k(reflecting actual basic salary).
Yogarani,
Thanks I have changed ECR as per your suggestion. No Error message now. But I am still wondering why this UAN alone throwing error message, while other UAN are working fine. I give sample ECR statement for your reference.

Kindly check this employeeâs information section EPS box should be un-checked then go to payroll section, there you will find âbasic EPSâ option under PF item. Then select pencil/edit to add one column while putting zero amount and save it. Then it wonât count this person EPS contribution in ECR file while generating report from GreytHR.
Following your tips I am filing the ECR with 0 in EPS column. But since yesterday I am getting emails and mobile notification saying that the we have failed to remit the UAN part of contribution and need to remit the difference amount immediately. Now how to pay the difference amount? there is no damages challan found generated in pf site. Please advise
I think there is some problem with the EPFO site as so many messages of this type have also come to me. I checked each and every data and got fine then I concluded that there is some technical issue with the EPFO site.
Let me know the experiences of other members also.
What if employer want to contribute EPS amount now to their current employee who was not part of EPS scheme to former employer because of they showed more than 15k , so my question is can we make change for EPS for that employee
