Job description
We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Executive with a strong legal and HR background to join our team. This role focuses on employment contract drafting, performance management, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will ensure that employment agreements align with company policies, oversee employee evaluations, and draft performance-based contracts to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Employment Contracts & HR Documentation
- Draft, update, and maintain employment contract templates in compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies.
- Develop and standardize contract templates for various employment scenarios, including full-time, part-time, and contract positions.
- Ensure all HR-related documents are legally compliant and aligned with industry best practices.
- Employee Performance Management
- Audit the current employee performance evaluation framework to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and implement a new performance evaluation framework tailored for full-time, part-time, and contract employees.
- Update and modernize performance review forms to capture employees tenure, contributions, and learning within the organization.
- Revise promotion offers with clear performance targets and defined growth trajectories.
- Collaborate with team leaders, department heads, and management to create a fair and motivating performance evaluation system.
- Employee Engagement & Retention
- Develop and implement HR initiatives focused on employee motivation, engagement, and retention.
- Monitor employee satisfaction levels and create effective retention strategies.
- Establish career development, upskilling, and mentorship programs to enhance employee growth.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to foster a transparent and positive work environment.
- Facilitate continuous performance improvement discussions and create personalized development plans.
- Compliance & HR Policy Development
- Stay updated with Indian labor laws and evolving HR best practices to ensure full compliance.
- Recommend and implement HR policy improvements based on industry trends and internal evaluations.
- If required, hire and coordinate with HR auditors and assist in HR audits and compliance reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Law (preferred) and a Postgraduate degree/certification in HR Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR roles with expertise in legal documentation, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Strong contract drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to Chennai, Bangalore, and Nagpur offices.
