Incorrect DOB details in Aadhar, how we remit EPF contribution?

Hi,

Incase a employee joins the organisation and they don’t have a proper DOB details in Aadhar, so we are not able to create UAN, in this case how should we remit the EPF contribution of Employee and Employer?

As Aadhaar is required for ECR (seeding date extended till 31 Dec 2021), it is better to first update Aadhaar with correct DOB. Employee has to visit an Aadhaar update center and get it done (DOB can not be updated, online in self service mode), Usually in a week’s time, the update process would be completed. Now a days, Banks are also providing Aadhaar update service and the person can even book a slot before visiting the center.

Employee has to correct it in Aadhaar else u have to take as per Aadhaar.
