One of our customer raised the query.
Employee had twin baby in the first delivery, she updated her baby details in application also. Now she si applying maternity for 3rd children.
Question is Maternity is applicable for two times or maximum up to 2 children. Please clarify.
It is complicated and as per the prevailing rule, she can not claim maternity leave. However if the employer shows a lenient approach, then she may be able to avail the leave. We need to see how fellow compliance experts comment on this query.
