Is it appropriate to provide PAN, Aadhaar nos on payslip? Are there any prohibiting / supporting provisions in this regards?

Your question if it is appropriate - the answer may differ.
If you try to see the payslip generated by the greythr system, PAN and AADHAR details are included. Coz it is assumed that payslip is always considered a personal document, wherein the responsibility of use is on the employee. Should this document land into bad use, it is with the consent of the employee. So if you ask if appropriate - I could say Yes.
