PF Contribution not reflected on pasbook

We filed the PF for the month of September on time, but the amount has not yet been reflected in the employees’ passbooks. Is anyone else facing the same issue? I noticed there were some changes in the portal during September — could I have missed any steps? When I open the e-filing page, it shows that the last filed return is for the wage month of September

I think If your e-filing page confirms that the return for the wage month of September has been successfully filed and the payment has been processed, there’s likely no issue from your end. The EPFO system often takes a few working weeks to reflect contributions in the employee passbooks after such updates.

Here’s what you can do in the meantime:

  • Verify that the TRRN is showing as ‘settled’ under the payment status.
  • Check if the ECR status appears as ‘uploaded and approved’ for September.
  • If both are correct, the passbook entries should update automatically soon.
