POI, New company asks to submit the tax proof submissions. Old company had not issued Form16

I had already submitted the tax submission in my previous company before exit. I joined another organization a week later. Now the new company asked to submit the tax proof submissions. The old company had not issued Form16 which wont be available until Jun / Jul 2022. I don’t have 12 B as well. What are the next steps here. Kindly advise.

Hi Arsha,

Request your previous employer to provide Tax computation statement, usually they will give along with your Final settlement. Hanover the same to the present employer.

Atleast collect the tax working sheet from your earlier company and submit to your new company.
