EPF ESIGN ERROR

Dear Team,
we want to add esign on epf employer portal but a unknown error VirtualId cannot be null. received after enter virtual address and click submit.

  • Ensure that you have generated a valid Virtual ID (VID) for your Aadhaar number. You can generate this 16-digit VID by visiting the UIDAI portal.
  • Use the “Generate Virtual ID” option under the Aadhaar Services section and ensure the VID is active.
  1. Incorrect Entry:
  • Double-check that you’ve entered the correct 16-digit Virtual ID. Any typographical errors can lead to this issue.
  1. Virtual ID Expiration:
  • A Virtual ID is temporary and can expire. Generate a new VID if the one you are using has expired.
  1. Technical Glitch on the Portal:
  • If the Virtual ID is correct and active but the error persists, it might be a technical issue with the EPF portal.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, and try again. Alternatively, try using a different browser or system.
  1. Aadhaar eKYC Linking Issue:
  • Ensure that your Aadhaar number is correctly linked with the EPF Employer account and eKYC has been successfully completed.

  • Sometimes, portal-related issues can cause such errors. Check the EPFO official website or contact their support team to verify if there are any ongoing issues.

Steps to Resolve:

  1. Generate or re-generate your Virtual ID (VID) from the UIDAI website.
