💼 greytHR Recruit - Empower Hiring Managers with Job Requisitions

Managers in greytHR are now auto-synced as Hiring Managers in Recruit, allowing them to submit job requisitions seamlessly.

By default, the Manager role has permission enabled to submit job requisitions directly from the ESS dashboard using the new “Request New Job” button in the Hiring widget.

👨🏻‍💻 greytHR PRO - Enhanced Support Ticket Details

We’ve upgraded the centralized ticket management experience for greytHR PRO users.
Now, users can:

  1. View complete ticket details i.e description, raised date, last updated date, and query category/sub-category.

  2. Access conversations with support agents directly.

  3. Track ticket counts by status, client, and user for better insights.

🎉 Unite Marketplace Now on the greytHR Mobile App!

We’re thrilled to bring Unite Marketplace to the Explore screen of the greytHR mobile app! This new feature makes accessing apps and services easier than ever.

What’s New?

  1. Easy Access: Find the Unite Marketplace on the Explore screen.

  2. Seamless Browsing: Tap the widget to explore the Marketplace directly within the app.

  3. Stay Updated: Discover featured apps and promotions in the widget.

Note: The widget appears only if your admin has enabled at least one application for employees from the Unite Marketplace.

📜 Restrict POI Declarations for Non-Applicable Sections in the New Tax Regime

This feature ensures employees cannot submit POI under sections not applicable to the new tax regime, enabling a streamlined and efficient review process.

  1. New Tax Regime: Employees can edit only the allowed sections if the restriction is enabled.

  2. Old Tax Regime: All sections remain editable as before.

  3. Switching Regimes: Irrelevant declarations and documents are removed. Employees must manually re-add sections when reverting to the old regime.

This functionality eliminates redundant reviews, simplifies the POI process, and ensures alignment with the selected tax regime.

📩 Kerala LWF Revision for IT Companies

Introducing a new “Kerala (IT)” professional tax state to comply with Kerala’s statutory norms for IT companies.

Key Details:

  • Effective Date: November 1, 2024
  • Tax Slabs: Same as Kerala’s professional tax slabs
  • LWF Contribution: ₹100 for both employer and employee, with monthly frequency starting January
  • Setup: Payroll admins can map locations to “Kerala (IT)” under Professional Tax settings.

This ensures compliance and differentiation between IT companies and others.

📱 Accept/Refuse Letters and Policies on Mobile

We’re making document compliance effortless with the new ability to accept or reject letters and policies directly from the mobile app.

Key Highlights:

  • Action Enforcement: Employees must accept or reject letters and policies to access the app, ensuring compliance.
  • Seamless Access: Review letters and policies directly within the mobile app.
  • Integrated PDF Viewer: Built-in PDF reader for quick document previews without external apps.
  • Action Buttons: Intuitive options to accept, reject, or acknowledge, based on admin configurations.
  • Real-Time Sync: Actions taken on mobile instantly update on the web platform.
  • Prioritized Access: Employees are directed to pending documents upon login until all actions are completed.
  • User-Friendly Flow: Clean UI for effortless review and decision-making.

📑 New Reviews Report Now Available in Reports Gallery

We’re excited to introduce the Reviews Report under the Performance Management category in the Reports Gallery.

What’s Included:

  • Assessor Details: Assessor weightages, category weightages, and category-level ratings.
  • Employee Ratings: Cumulative category ratings and final ratings.
  • Metadata: Cycle name and performance period for clear context.

This comprehensive report offers a holistic view of review outcomes, enabling deeper performance analysis and insights.

🤝 Enhancements to Onboarding

We’ve introduced exciting enhancements to make the onboarding process more comprehensive, streamlined, and empowering for both employees and admins!

What’s New?

  • Education Section: Employees can now submit CGPA/GPA/Grades/Percentages for every qualification, ensuring a more detailed profile.
  • Insurance Details: Employees can add multiple insurance details during onboarding. Previously, only admins could enter this data.
  • Registration Details: A new section for Registrations, Licenses, and ID Details allows employees to upload and manage these documents seamlessly.

☑️ Multiple Attendance Cycles - December Release

We’re excited to introduce a new feature that allows organizations to set unique attendance cycles for different employee groups, offering greater flexibility in attendance management.

Key Highlights:

  • Flexibility: Configure attendance cycles for specific employee groups.
  • Accuracy: Prevent duplicate attendance months.
  • Custom Start Dates: Adjust cycles from a defined start date.

This enhancement simplifies attendance tracking, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for HR teams managing diverse schedules.

❓ Request Hub - December Release

Introducing Request Hub, a customizable workflow solution that enables organizations to create tailored workflows for specific employee sets. Admins can define workflow categories such as Cab Request, Travel Request, or Creche Facility, set initiators, assign reviewer levels, and activate workflows as needed—all within a unified interface. With Request Hub, organizations gain a powerful tool to manage diverse workflows efficiently, ensuring flexibility and scalability.

✅ Other Features

1. greytHR PRO - Summary Stats in Teams and Clients Page:

Admins can now view a summary section:

  • Teams Page: Counts of Active Users, Administrators, Managers, and Associates.
  • Clients Page: Counts of Total, Assigned, and Unassigned Clients.

2. Is Settled Agent Enhanced to Pick Settled and Resettled Status Separately

Users can now process regular salary during settlement while managing retirals like leave encashment, gratuity, and reimbursements during resettlement. This enhancement ensures proper configurations based on settlement or resettlement status.

3. Category-Wise Currency Display in Payroll Statement

Users can display category-wise currencies in payroll statements to bifurcate employees by currency mapping, enabling seamless payments in respective currencies.

4. Editing Goal Plan After Activation

Admins can now edit specific configurations post-activation, including:

  • Adjusting timelines (cut-off dates).
  • Changing check-in reminder frequencies.
  • Adding new categories.

This ensures smoother goal management and flexibility.

5. Automatic Reflection of Goal Plan Updates in Review

Changes to goals (e.g., adding goals or adjusting weightages) during an active review cycle are now applied when the cycle is reopened. This ensures assessors see the latest updates for seamless assessments.

6. Ratings & Comments Now Mandatory in Reviews

Users must now provide both ratings and comments before submitting reviews. This ensures comprehensive feedback, avoids accidental omissions, and improves assessment quality.

7. Enhanced Controls for Posts and Comments on Feeds

  • The Create Post option is now hidden if posting is disabled, removing confusion.
  • Admins can manage Create Post and Add Comments settings independently.
  • A feature code allows users to comment on posts even if posting is disabled.

8. greytHR PRO - Streamlined POI Process Management (December Release)

greytHR PRO users can now seamlessly manage the POI process across all clients. Track employee headcounts by status — Yet to be Released, Released, Pending for Review, Pending for Payroll, and Considered — without logging into individual client accounts.

  • Hiring Managers can now easily create and submit job requisitions directly from their ESS portal in greytHR Recruit.

  • Once submitted, requisitions seamlessly integrate into the recruiting pipeline, enhancing visibility and efficiency for HR teams.

Managers can now record attendance for their subordinates when needed. This feature ensures timely updates during emergencies, technical issues, or other constraints, enhancing efficiency while maintaining accurate and reliable attendance records.

Add Hired Candidates to greytHR

Recruiters can now seamlessly add hired candidates directly to greytHR, ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding. Candidate information is automatically transferred, eliminating the need for manual data mapping and saving valuable time.

Add Employee Categories for Job Info

In the Recruit app, admins can now include specific employee categories in job information. This allows organizations to tailor job forms to their unique requirements, streamlining the customization process and minimizing additional requests for job info field changes.

Integration with Google Meet, Teams, and Zoom for Interview Scheduling

Simplify interview scheduling with seamless integration of Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Recruiters can automatically generate and share virtual meeting links while scheduling interviews, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for both candidates and interviewers.

Integration with Job Boards (Naukri, IIM Jobs, and Hirist)

Organizations can now integrate with leading job boards like Naukri, Hirist, and IIM Jobs to streamline job postings and expand talent reach. Post jobs directly from Recruit to these platforms, saving time and boosting visibility among top candidates.

Engineering Team Updates

What’s New:

1. Database Upgrades to PostgreSQL 15 (Scorpion):
All customer databases have been successfully upgraded to PostgreSQL 15, delivering improved performance, enhanced speed, better security, and greater reliability across our services.

2. Migration to Redis Labs for UAS:
We have migrated the self-hosted Redis instance to Redis Labs, reducing downtime and enhancing stability. This move leverages Redis Labs’ high availability, automatic failover, and optimized throughput for better performance.

3. Non-Prod Cluster Migration:
We have created a new namespace for Zaire and migrated three namespaces from the old CloudStack cluster to the new cluster. This ensures non-prod infrastructure aligns with production, minimizing infra version mismatches and improving stability, which boosts engineering team productivity.

Product Content Updates

  • Knowledge Base Enhancements: Revamped the Letters Setup Guide into a single,
    user-friendly article with GIFs for easy configuration. Introduced AI-friendly, SEO-optimized articles on key seasonal topics like Leave Year End, Form 24Q, Leave Grant, and Form 16. Expanded the PMS module with practical use cases, including 30/60/90-day onboarding goals and SMART goals to streamline performance tracking.

  • Video Initiatives: Created key videos such as the GTPro promotional video to boost visibility, a Trial User Walkthrough video for smooth onboarding, and a Company Intro video for the Malaysia launch. Developed 10 Implementation Configuration videos for internal training, now part of the LMS course.

  • Performance Metrics: Achieved 54,864 views and 5,68,277 impressions on YouTube, reflecting strong user engagement and increased campaign visibility.

Training Programs: Conducted 13 training batches with 555 attendees, including:

  • 2 NHT batches (15 attendees).
  • 5 greytHR Certified Professional Training Level-1 batches (245 attendees).
  • 1 Level-2 batch (24 attendees).
  • 5 Digital HR training programs (271 attendees) across institutions like East Point Group, MP Birla Institute, CMR University, and others.

Course Development: Developed the Recruitment Functions Course, marking the second course on greytHR functionalities. Created a promotional video for one of our Udemy courses, reaching 43,428 learners on the platform.

MOOC Program: Conducted a MOOC program for Kochi Business School with 21 participants.
