🎯 Custom Categories for Goal Plans

Admins can now create custom categories with a name and description, just like the predefined ones. These categories can be used in goal plans with item limits. Editing and deletion are allowed, but deletion is restricted if the category is in use. The enable/disable option provides better control, ensuring only active categories are selectable.

Streamline your interview process with Google Meet integration in greytHR Recruit. Recruiters can sync their Google Calendar, view interview panel availability, and prevent scheduling conflicts with automatic time blocking—all within the same platform.

🤝 Form 5 - Professional Tax Report (Gujarat)

This report is mandated under the Gujarat Professional Tax Act. It provides the professional tax deducted from employees’ salaries and is submitted either monthly or annually to the tax authorities. It ensures compliance with state tax regulations and helps track employer contributions.

💸 Form 16 - Register of Leave with Wages (Rajasthan)

This register is required under the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act. It records employees’ leave details, including earned, sick, and casual leave, along with wages paid during leave periods. It serves as proof of compliance with labor laws and helps resolve disputes related to leave entitlements.

📝 Revised West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) Slabs – Effective January 2025 Payroll

The West Bengal LWF slabs have been revised and updated in greytHR in accordance with the latest regulations. This update ensures that payroll calculations for employees in West Bengal remain accurate and compliant with the new LWF slab changes. The new LWF slabs will be applied automatically to payrolls starting on or after 1st January 2025.

📌 Ready-to-Generate Statutory Reports – Indonesia Payroll

Our ready-to-generate statutory reports streamline the monthly report creation process and enhance compliance with Indonesian statutory requirements. This month, we have introduced three statutory reports for Indonesia:

  • BPJS Ketenagakerjaan
  • Tax Detail Report
  • Tax Detail Report – Employee-wise

📜 Enhanced Permission Review in ESS Portal

Managers can now quickly review Applied Dates, Total Hours, and Remarks directly on the permission request listing page. The expanded card format streamlines access, ensuring clarity and consistency while maintaining existing workflows.

👨🏻‍💻 Override Applied OT Hours

Admins and managers with Auto OT - Override access can now edit and adjust OT hours directly on the Auto Grant OT page. Built-in validations ensure compliance, providing alerts for violations and confirmations for successful updates.

👔 New “Remarks” Column in Attendance Override Importer

A dedicated Remarks column is now available to capture and display additional context. This column is visible in Attendance Info, Muster Reports, and Query Builder. With report visibility controls and seamless synchronization, this update enhances transparency and efficiency.

👆 Introducing “Plant Shutdown” as an Attendance Status

Admins can now enable “Plant Shutdown” in Attendance Exception options using a toggle in Advanced Options. When activated, it appears across reports and attendance views for precise tracking. Default settings remain unchanged, ensuring seamless integration.

🔗 Apply for Leave Using Future Eligible Balance

Employees can now apply for leave based on their future eligible balance, with real-time calculations displayed on the application page. This feature supports both prorated and non-prorated grants, offering clear validations and seamless ESS integration. It ensures compliance while enhancing flexibility.

✅ Other Features

1. Displaying Selected Categories on the ESS Leave Review Page
Managers can now view up to two configurable categories (e.g., Location: Bangalore) on the ESS leave review page, just below the employee name and ID. This update provides better context for approvals, aligning with existing admin functionality.

2. Upload Attachments While Posting Leave Transactions
Admins can now upload and manage attachments while posting leave transactions. Files are easily accessible on the leave details page with preview and download options, ensuring better documentation and streamlined record-keeping.

3. Role-Based Control for Leave Deletion
The “Delete Leave” option in the Employee Leave module is now permission-based. Admins can manage access via User Roles, ensuring only authorized users can delete leave records. Default access remains for admins and majordomos, enhancing security and control.

4. Holiday List 2025 - Phase 2
Holiday List 2025 - Phase 2 is updated for 8 states and 2 UTs, enabling accurate and state-specific holiday management. This helps organizations seamlessly align with regional traditions while ensuring compliance with holiday policies. Simplify operations with precise and ready-to-use holiday lists.

5. Income Tax Projections Continuation Until Resignation Approval
To ensure accurate payroll calculations, salary projections will now continue until a manager approves an employee’s resignation. This prevents premature stoppage of projections, ensuring seamless payroll processing.

6. Annual Gross Validation for Professional Tax (PT) deduction - Madhya Pradesh
To ensure accurate Professional Tax (PT) deductions in Madhya Pradesh, the system will now validate annual salary limits similar to Punjab, Jharkhand, and Bihar.

7. Page Static Content Configuration in POI Page (ESS)
Payroll administrators can now configure static messages in the header or footer of the Proof of Investment (POI) page in ESS.

8. Info Icons on Reimbursement Landing Page (ESS)
To improve transparency, employees can now view explanations for Entitlement, Claims Applied/Paid, and Balance on the Reimbursement landing page with a simple hover action.

  • New ‘i’ Icons – Added next to key sections for better understanding.
  • Clear Definitions – Hover over Entitlement, Claims Applied/Paid, or Balance to see how values are calculated.
  • Better Transparency – Employees get complete clarity on reimbursement status.

9. Payroll Statement Enhancements - Display Professional Tax (PT) State
Payroll administrators can now easily verify the Professional Tax (PT) state assigned to each employee for accurate tax computation.

  • New ‘PT State’ Field – Added under Emp Info category for quick reference.
  • Automated Mapping – The system picks the state based on the employee’s location mapping in payroll settings.
  • Improved Accuracy – Ensures correct PT deductions based on state-specific rules.

10. Goal-Only Reviews
Until now, customers couldn’t review only the Goals category because at least one performance category was required. Now, in Reviews Configuration, all performance categories can be deleted if the Goals category is enabled. This allows for more flexible, goal-focused reviews. Review only what matters!

11. Enhancement to Goal Reopen
Now, when a goal plan is reopened, users can update both goal setting and progress until the new due date, following permissions. Goal and milestone due dates can also be adjusted according to the new due date, ensuring flexibility while maintaining core rules.

12. Separate Assessments for Multi-Level Reviewers
Previously, employees assigned as assessors for multiple levels in a review cycle had to complete assessments in a single step, which could lead to confusion and potential gaps in evaluations.

Now each assessment level is separate, allowing distinct evaluations for each role. Once one level is completed, a new task appears for the next, ensuring clarity. Existing review cycle functionalities remain unchanged for a smooth evaluation process.

13. Structured Onboarding with Aadhaar Verification
This introduces a dedicated screen for Aadhaar verification during onboarding, ensuring it is completed before uploading a photo or entering other details.

14. Color-Coded Background Verification Indicator
Previously, admins lacked a quick visual way to indicate clearance status and potential risks in an employee’s background verification.

A color-coded “Indicator” dropdown is now available under Background Verification. Admins can select Red, Amber, or Green for risk levels, and the selection is saved in real-time for easy tracking in reports and Excel exports.

The expense claims system is now redesigned for the web and introduced on mobile, providing employees, managers, and admins with a seamless experience. It features intuitive workflows, real-time tracking, and advanced configurations for policies, forex, and mileage. This upgrade ensures smooth submissions, faster approvals, and improved compliance across devices.

Mark Attendance on Behalf from greytHR Mobile App

Mark Attendance on Behalf allows managers or authorized users to record attendance for their team members in case they are unable to do so by themselves. This feature ensures accurate attendance tracking and helps manage exceptions like missed check-ins or technical issues.

Biometric and Fingerprint in Mobile App

Biometric & Fingerprint Authentication – To enhance security and ease of access, we are introducing biometric login and PIN-based authentication in the mobile app. Employees can now securely log in using their fingerprint, face ID, or a unique PIN.

Recruit Integration with Zoom

Simplify your interview process with the seamless integration of Zoom in greytHR recruit. Schedule and manage interviews across different platforms, all within a single system, for a smoother and more efficient recruitment experience.

Integration with Payroll for Salary Annexure in Offer Letter

The integration with the Payroll API in greytHR Recruit enables recruiters to retrieve a complete salary structure, dynamically compute the CTC using input values, and automatically populate the generated salary structure in the Offer Letter.

Employee Portal for Internal Job Postings (IJP) and Referrals

Employee Portal will enable employees of an organization to make referrals, track referral status, and apply for internal job postings, thereby enhancing internal recruitment efforts and boosting employee engagement.

Flexible OT/Comp-Off Selection

Both OT/Comp-Off option in the Overtime Pay-Rate Calculator allows employees choose between Overtime Pay or Comp-Off for excess hours worked. It ensures compliance, with automated validations, clear updates, and improved tracking for seamless payroll processing.

Display Today’s Working Hours on Comp-Off Grant Screen

The Dynamic Comp-Off Eligibility Calculation allows employees to apply for Comp-Off grants based on actual hours worked on holidays or non-working days. The system auto-calculates eligible hours, displays key details, and lets employees choose between OT, Comp-Off, or Both, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
