Hi @Joyal123 ,
The rejection of your PF withdrawal application due to the “EPF amount not recovered from the Date of Joining (DOJ)” typically indicates a discrepancy or issue with the contributions or records maintained by the employer or the EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation). Here’s a step-by-step guide to resolve this issue:
Steps to Resolve PF Withdrawal Issue
- Check Your EPF Account Details:
- Log in to the EPFO member portal using your UAN and password.
- Verify your basic details, including the Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE).
- Check your EPF passbook to ensure all contributions are recorded correctly.
- Verify Employer Contributions:
- Ensure that your employer has regularly made EPF contributions from the Date of Joining.
- Sometimes, there may be delays or gaps in contributions which can cause issues.
- Contact Your Employer:
- Discuss the issue with your employer’s HR or finance department.
- Request them to verify and correct the DOJ and contribution details if there are discrepancies.
- Ensure they submit the correct details to the EPFO.
- Submit Joint Declaration Form:
- If there is an error in your DOJ or other details, fill out a Joint Declaration Form with your employer.
- The form needs to be signed by both you and your employer and submitted to the EPFO office.
- Attach supporting documents such as your joining letter, payslips, and identity proof.
- Raise a Grievance on EPFO Portal:
- If the issue persists, you can raise a grievance on the EPFO grievance portal.
- Provide detailed information about your problem and attach relevant documents.
- Track the status of your grievance through the portal.
How to Fill and Submit Joint Declaration Form
- Download the Joint Declaration Form:
- You can find this form online or obtain it from your employer or EPFO office.
- Fill Out the Form:
- Enter your correct personal details (name, UAN, PF account number).
- Specify the corrections required (e.g., correcting the Date of Joining).
- Attach Supporting Documents:
- Attach proof of DOJ such as the joining letter, payslips, and ID proof.
- Get Employer Signature:
- Ensure the form is signed and stamped by your employer.
- Submit to EPFO:
- Submit the filled and signed form to the nearest EPFO office.
- Keep a copy for your records.
Follow Up
- Regular Follow-ups: Regularly follow up with your employer and EPFO office regarding the status of your correction.
- Check Online Status: Keep checking the status of your application and grievance online.
Additional Tips
- Documentation: Keep all your employment-related documents (joining letter, payslips, PF statements) handy for verification.
- Contact EPFO: If needed, visit the EPFO office personally or contact them via their helpline for quicker resolution.
By following these steps, you can address the issue related to the non-recovery of EPF amounts from your Date of Joining and successfully withdraw your PF amount.
