Who has to submit Form 5?

Hi,

  1. For a small startup with very less employees. Is it mandatory to submit Form 5?
  2. If no new employee joined in the company during the previous month, we have to submit this form?

Hi Manasa,

The establishment that has 20 or more employees, have to fill the details of employees in Form 5 and submit it to the respective EPF Commissioner’s office.

If no new employee has joined in the previous month, the employer while filling Form 5 mention ‘Nil’ in the employee details field and submit it to the EPF Commissioner’s office.
