Process to transfer PF amount from 2 companies after leaving employment

I need help.
I left my second last company (Company A) in Jan 2021 and joined my last company (Company B). I then left Company B in Oct 2021 and started freelancing. While in Company B, I somehow forgot to transfer my PF amount from Company A. Now Company A and Company B both have marked me Exit employee in their portal.

  1. Is there a way to transfer money from Company A to Company B and then withdraw the entire amount from Company B?
  2. Or do I have to separately withdraw from Company A and then separately from Company B?

Please help. My money is stuck and I don’t know what exactly to do.

You have to submit transfer claim first from Company A to B then you can withdraw both from Company B.

Even though I have left Company B, will the transfer happen? I am actually not sure because they have already marked me as Exit Employee.

This usually happens automatically when you join a new company. In this case, it should have happened when you had joined company B.

If your KYC under EPFO is 100% compliant, then this transfer will happen automatically.
